We love riding 3-speed bikes and we want to share the love with YOU! So dust off an old 3-speed and get ready for adventures of your own making and adventures with us! 3-speed bikes used to be made in the tens of thousands and there are plenty of them floating around, whether in garage sales, collecting dust in a neighbour's basement, on Craiglist, on eBay, and in used bike shops. Just be sure to lube the rear hub and chain, inspect and probably replace the tyres and brake shoes and cables, and you should be ready to roll in style. (There are also brand new models on the market, including some urban-stylish models from Swobo.) Get your bike ready, get your most dapper and most anti-lycra clothes lined up, and you'll be all set. We look forward to riding with you. And remember: "Three Is All You Need!" (But you're welcome to join the 3SA with either 1, 2, 3, or even four gears!)
